Currently, the FDA does not provide an official designation for 'vegan' labeling on dietary supplements. Therefore, Metagenics uses the term 'vegetarian' where applicable. Dependent on the product
The color variation you're noticing is due to annatto, a natural colorant from the seeds of the achiote tree. As a naturally sourced ingredient, annatto can sometimes show slight color variations. We've also recently updated our soft gel formula by removing a mineral opacifier, which previously contributed to a darker color. Rest assured, these changes to the capsule material do not affect the product's content, safety, quality, or efficacy. We're committed to maintaining the highest standards while making improvements for a better product experience.
Yes! Nearly all of our products now include methylated B-vitamins. Specifically, we use the methylated forms of folate (5-methyltetrahydrofolate) and B12 (methylcobalamin) to ensure optimal absorption and effectiveness.
Our Meta Kids line is specifically formulated for children, making them the only products that are kid-friendly. All other formulas are designed for adult use and are labeled accordingly. You can find our MetaKids products under the Children's Health section on the Products tab.
